Double Glazing Repairs was established in 1990 to provide a specialist double glazing repair service for UPVC & Aluminium double glazing products. We are conveniently placed to serve the Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire & Hertfordshire areas.
The need for this service first arose as a result of many original manufacturers ceasing to trade, rendering the guarantee worthless, the guarantee period having expired or the realisation that normal window companies, who did not have the repair knowledge and expertise, were only interested in selling a whole new window or door rather than fitting a much cheaper new part.
Over the years we have established an enviable reputation for the quality and promptness of our service which has been further enhanced by the integration of long established manufacturing and repair specialist “The Window Wizard’. Combining these two companies, who are both experts in their fields, meant that the replacement of misty units could be taken care of ‘in house’ as opposed to buying from a third party. Cutting out the wait and costs involved with buying from another source, has proved to be a major advantage and has allowed us to complete repairs much quicker whilst passing savings on to our customers along with the peace of mind that they are receiving a quality kitemarked product. In EMERGENCY situations we can even offer a same day service which is something that no one else can match! This means we are the ONLY repair company in the Beds, Herts and Bucks area to be in full control of the complete process from survey, manufacture, supply and installation.This, along with the addition of more repair specialists and vans to our team, means that we are now fully armed to deal with every call quickly and efficiently.
Our repair services are split between domestic and commercial customers. We also perform a planned maintenance program for many clients and in particular Estate Agents, Letting Agents and Landlords.
Because our premises hold massive stocks, as well as producing quality kitemarked double glazed units, our fleet of repair vans are able to carry a large range of spares, meaning we are able to deal with many repairs on the spot .
Under normal circumstances we would be able to diagnose the problem on the telephone and would be in a position to give a quotation for the repairs immediately. Please note that the price quoted is for a cure and is not a “call out” charge. If we are unable to fix the problem there is no charge at all.

We are a dedicated repair service but there are times when a repair is not a viable option. In these instances we can supply and fit new UPVC Double Glazing.
